The virtual kettle's on..... So while I let it boil I just have this to say

Okay okay...Who nicked JULY. One minute it's there, the next minute it's gone. Where have you hidden it.

It may be a sign of age, but I am beginning to question where the year has gone like nan's and paps do. I even found myself saying the phrase in the hairdressers the other day...Mind you, that is because I am not good at small talk and really just want my hair cut.

So yep, July just whizzed by. A busy busy month for us, but that is no excuse for not writing the blog about the prestigious Badge 'O' the month.

This month, the winner as chosen by our lovely badge friend was a classic. One of the first badges we designed and still as popular today as it was in it's first year. This badge still consistantly outsells other badges and has been in the top ten of sales since the beginning.

We asked our lovely badge friend (twitter name @kinkyclawz) to choose this months badge as she is a true purveyor of quality badges. Her badge collection must be amazing, and cheekily I have asked for a picture to see how vast it must be.

The badge 'o' the month that she chose was 'SAVE THE DODO NOW'. We love this little badge for the irony of it all.

I wonder what we would do with the Dodo now though if they were still around. My bet, looking at them is that they would be farmed for meat like chickens, turkey, duck and goose. It would probably become a christmas favourite to replace Turkey if Jamie Oliver just happened to mention how blooming tasty they were.

I know we cannot save all species and am a great believer in survival of the fittest and not wasting good money on trying to keep hold of a species that has run it's course...no matter how amazing, or beautiful it is. If we do the planet will get over run with them....and we all know in our heart of hearts that until the aliens arrive we are the master race, and need space to build our ever bigger houses.

So three cheers for @kinkyclawz for picking such a fab Badge 'o' the month and raising it to the top of the pile for July. All hail 'SAVE THE DODO NOW'
